About Us
Welcome to Bharakt Diagnostics, a dedicated service provider committed to making world-class healthcare and diagnostic services accessible and affordable for the urban poor.
In our early years, we partnered closely with Command Hospital, offering advanced tests such as cancer markers, prenatal genetic screening, and DNA sequencing to patients from across Maharashtra.
Many of these services were provided for free or at highly reduced costs. Over time, we saw the significant impact our efforts made on the lives of economically challenged patients, reinforcing our mission to make quality healthcare accessible to all.
To expand our impact, Bharakt Diagnostics partnered with the Pune Cantonment Board in 2022 to provide world-class diagnostic services at affordable prices at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Hospital in Camp, a 100-year-old, 100-bed government hospital. Located at Golibar Maidan in the heart of Pune, this initiative ensures that high-quality diagnostics are accessible to the urban poor at subsidized rates.
Looking ahead, Bharakt Diagnostics is partnering with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to offer high-end radiology and pathology services to the urban poor at highly subsidized rates. This initiative will primarily serve lower-income communities, enhancing access to quality healthcare in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The project will be based at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Yerawada, one of Pune's most densely populated slum areas. This facility will provide much-needed preventive healthcare and diagnostic services to the local community and beyond. It will also be one of the few centers in Pune where individuals eligible for health schemes like the Urban Poor Health Scheme, Below Poverty Line (BPL) patient schemes, and Anti-Natal Care (ANC) schemes can access these diagnostics.
In addition to the hospital, we will extend diagnostic services to Primary Health Clinics (PHCs) across the city, which serve an average of 50-100 patients per day. This expansion will significantly increase the reach and impact of our services.
We estimate that within six months of launching, over 100 patients per day will benefit from the project, growing to 200-300 patients daily, or over 6,000 people monthly. This number is expected to rise by 10-15% annually.
